Return of the King, Extended Edition Easter Eggs - interview with Elijah Wood
Go to the "scene selection" screen (if you're on disc two, you have to go to the Main Menu first). Go to the last page of scenes (33-36 or 77-78, depending on the disc) and place your cursor over the last scene (36 or 78). Now, press the "down" button. A gold Ring should appear under the last scene name, to the left of another line of text (I think that line says "* = new scene, ** = extended scene", but I'm not sure). Now, press OK, and the secret goodie should start. -NL
[I just put it into a search engine, I haven't watched the Easter Egg yet. I did watch some of the commentary by the cast. Orlando and Karl don't comment much.]

I loved the EE, the new material really added to the movie.
I liked the death of Saruman. Grima stabs him, Legolas shoots Wormtongue. We see how the Palantir gets in the water.
Legolas and Gimli's drinking game, Gimli falls down, and Legolas says "Game Over."
When Eomer tells Eowyn, "War is the province of men."
Eowyn's dream was a nice moment between her and Aragorn.
Walking on all of those skulls was creepy.
Gandalf fighting the Witch King
Eomer finding Eowyn on the Pelennor battlefield brought tears to my eyes. Pippin finding Merry's cloak.
I liked Aragorn caring for Eowyn in the Houses of Healing, Eomer's concern, and Liv Tyler singing.
The scenes between Faramir and Eowyn were sweet.
Aragorn confronting Sauron through the Palantir.
Frodo and Sam marching with the Orcs.
The Mouth of Sauron. Gandalf holding the mithril shirt at the Black Gate.
And, of course, Aragorn's hand on Legolas’ shoulder
